PRESCIENT \PRE-shee-uhnt\, adjective: Knowing or anticipating the outcome of events before they happen. Prescient derives from the Latin præscientem, present participle of præscire "to know before": præ-, "before" + scire, "to know," and is related to science.

HISTORY OVERVIEW

PCM and our affiliates have developed the reputation over the last 25+ years as a reliable alternative lender with impeccable integrity. Our ability to consistently and rapidly fund superior short-term loan transactions has earned the loyalty of our loan participants.

The name of the firm was selected based on the founder's background in banking and, more specifically, bank balance sheet management. In banking, managing the balance sheet for all rate scenarios is the main objective or "anticipating the outcome" of interest rate events. PCM continues to strategically assist financial institutions with balance sheet management and PCM is now strategically "anticipating the outcome" of the loans provided to non-bankable clientele.

The Prescient banker that utilizes PCM as a strategic partner will have a better program to assist credits that do not meet the bank lending covenants, higher earnings performance through a better strategy development program and a greater respect from regulatory agencies.
